Katella will challenge our students both academically and socially through UNLIMITED opportunities on campus. We provide a variety of honors and advanced placement courses in addition to expansive career pathway offerings to support all student interest. Our athletics programs and
athletes have taken us to league, CIF, and State, representing the Knight community with character and pride. The award winning VAPA programs at Katella, included a semi-finalist for the OC artist of the year and the 2023 Best in Show Artist for the AUHSD Color and Light Show. In 2021, Katella was awarded the 2021 Award of Excellence as a California Democracy School, and in 2022 Katella High School was recognized as an U.S. Department of Education's Green Ribbon School.
When our students finish their four years here at Katella, our amazing staff has ensured that students have been equipped with the skills associated with the 5 Cs and CPSF. Students are expected to demonstrate and practice these skills by Collaborating and Communicating during instruction, Critical Thinking and being Creative, as well as promoting Character and Compassion both on and off campus.
This school year, I encourage both students and parents to become involved and get connected with our Knight Family.
